LUCY
I'm Lucy, the owner and stylist at Lucy Stott Hair. Hairdressing has been my dream for as long as I can remember-I was talking about it from the age of four,
and I always knew I wanted my own salon one day. I'm naturally creative and love big colour transformations, especially blonding, but I also enjoy precision cutting,
from short styles to blunt bobs. My focus is always on listening to what you want, creating a plan to get you there, and making sure you leave feeling amazing.
FREYJA
Hey, I’m Freyja! I’m 28 and have been in and out of the hair industry for the past 10 years, but I always find myself coming back to it—I just love the creativity that hairdressing gives me. There’s nothing better than transforming someone’s hair and seeing them walk out of the salon feeling amazing.
I love working with clients to create something that really suits them, whether it’s a subtle refresh or a complete change. I’m so excited to meet new faces, get creative, and bring your hair goals to life!
RUBY
Hey, I’m Ruby, the apprentice at Lucy Stott Hair! I’m 17 and from Wells. I’ve known Lucy for years—she’s basically like an older sister—so when I decided to get into hairdressing, it just made sense to learn from her. My mum was a hairdresser, and following in her footsteps just felt right for me.
I’m at Strode College one day a week, then in the salon Wednesday to Saturday, watching, learning, and asking a million questions! I absolutely love being here, especially getting to do blow-dries and chatting with clients. Since starting hairdressing, I finally feel like I’ve found something I’m really good at.
I can’t wait to keep learning and growing – whilst I work towards becoming a fully qualified stylist!
GIGI – The Real Boss of the Salon
If you’ve been to the salon, you’ve probably already met Gigi—Freyja’s gorgeous show cocker spaniel and our honorary team member. She’s got the best colouring (people even ask if we’ve bleached her… we promise we haven’t!), and she spends her days lounging around, greeting clients, and expecting plenty of attention.
She’s the perfect salon dog—calm, friendly, and always up for a cuddle. Just don’t leave your snacks unattended… she’s got a talent for making them disappear!
